Sphephelo Sithole

Sphephelo Sithole is a South African midfielder who has built his career in Portugal, featuring for B-SAD and latterly CD Tondela after developing at Sporting CP and Vitória Setúbal. He has earned 27 caps for Bafana Bafana and appeared at two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Sithole trained at Sporting CP and Vitória Setúbal before joining B-SAD in Portugal's top flight, where he spent four seasons from 2019. He moved to CD Tondela in 2023 and was subsequently loaned to Gil Vicente for the 2024–25 season.

He made his senior debut for South Africa and has accumulated 27 caps and 1 goal, appearing at both the 2023 AFCON (where Bafana Bafana finished third) and the 2025 AFCON, before being selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
