La historia
Vitinha is one of football's most highly regarded midfielders, a back-to-back UEFA Champions League winner with PSG in 2025 and 2026, and a third-place Ballon d'Or finisher in 2025.
Vitinha developed through Porto's academy and won the domestic double with Porto in 2021–22 before PSG signed him that summer. After an initial adaptation period, he became the engine of PSG's midfield under Luis Enrique, winning four consecutive Ligue 1 titles and achieving historic back-to-back Champions League victories in 2024–25 and 2025–26. He finished third in the 2025 Ballon d'Or and was named to the FIFPRO World XI and FIFA Men's World 11.
Internationally, Vitinha has 37 caps for Portugal as of late 2025, contributing to the 2025 Nations League title. Known for his technical excellence, pressing intelligence, and ability to control tempo, he is widely regarded as one of the best central midfielders in the world.
