Abdul Rahman Baba

Baba Rahman is a Ghanaian left-back who spent years at Chelsea after high-profile moves from Augsburg, making over 50 appearances for the Black Stars across his international career. He settled at PAOK FC in Greece following his departure from Stamford Bridge.

Rahman developed in Ghana with Asante Kotoko before moving to Europe, progressing through Greuther Fürth and FC Augsburg before Chelsea signed him in 2015. His time at Chelsea was interrupted by serious knee injuries and a series of loan spells to Schalke 04, Stade de Reims, RCD Mallorca, PAOK, and Reading.

He joined PAOK permanently in 2023 and won the Super League Greece title in 2023–24 as well as the Greek Cup in 2020–21. Internationally he earned 52 caps for Ghana, including appearing at the 2015 AFCON final where Ghana finished as runners-up.
