Alexis Mac Allister

A versatile and technically polished midfielder, Mac Allister is valued for his passing, shooting, and ability to operate across multiple positions in midfield. He was a key figure in Argentina's 2022 World Cup triumph and joined Liverpool in 2023, helping them win the Premier League in 2024–25.

Mac Allister developed at Argentinos Juniors before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in 2019. After loan spells back in Argentina, he became a starter at Brighton and earned a move to Liverpool in 2023 for a reported £35 million. At Liverpool he has worn the iconic number 10 shirt.

He was not part of the 2021 Copa América squad; his involvement in Argentina's major-title run began at the 2022 World Cup, where he scored in the final. He was also a key starter in Argentina's 2024 Copa América victory. His shirt number for Argentina at the 2022 World Cup was 20.
