Alfie Jones

Alfie Jones is a versatile defender and midfielder who joined Middlesbrough after five seasons with Hull City. The England-born player made his Canada debut in November 2025.

Jones developed at Southampton and gained senior experience on loan with St Mirren and Gillingham before moving permanently to Hull City in 2020. He became a regular there, won the 2020-21 League One title and was named Hull player of the year for 2022-23.

He transferred to Middlesbrough in July 2025. Eligible through a Canadian grandmother, he completed his citizenship process and played the full match on his Canada debut against Venezuela.
