Ali Al-Hamadi

Ali Al-Hamadi is an Iraqi forward contracted to Ipswich Town and a senior Iraq international. He became the first Iraqi footballer to appear in the Premier League.

After academy spells with Tranmere Rovers and Swansea City, Al-Hamadi began his senior career at Wycombe Wanderers and impressed as a scorer for AFC Wimbledon. Ipswich signed him in 2024, and he later had loan spells with Stoke City and Luton Town.

At international level he first represented Iraq's under-23 side and made his senior debut in 2021.
