L'histoire
Andrew Robertson is Scotland's captain and one of Europe's top left-backs, renowned for his performances at Liverpool where he has won the Champions League, Premier League, and multiple domestic cups. With 94 caps he is Scotland's second-highest capped player.
Released by Celtic as a teenager for being too small, Robertson rebuilt his career at Queen's Park as an amateur before earning moves to Dundee United and then Hull City. Liverpool signed him for £8 million in 2017, and under Jürgen Klopp he developed into one of the world's best attacking full-backs, appearing in the 2018 Champions League final and winning the trophy in 2019.
Internationally Robertson became Scotland captain in 2018 and has been the driving force behind Scotland's renewed fortunes, leading the team to their first World Cup qualification since 1998 with a 4–2 win over Denmark in November 2025.
