Assan Ouédraogo

Assan Ouédraogo is a German box-to-box midfielder who turned professional with Schalke 04 before joining RB Leipzig in 2024. A double winner of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup and UEFA U-17 Championship, he made his senior Germany debut in November 2025.

Ouédraogo burst onto the scene at Schalke 04, becoming the club's youngest scorer in official competition at 17 years and 80 days in the 2. Bundesliga. His performances attracted RB Leipzig, who signed him for €10 million on a five-year deal in 2024.

At Leipzig he established himself as a regular midfielder known for his speed, dribbling, and ability to play with both feet. Internationally, he was a key member of the Germany U-17 side that won both the European Championship and World Cup in 2023, before making his senior debut against Slovakia in November 2025 and scoring after just 102 seconds.
