Azzedine Ounahi

Azzedine Ounahi is a Moroccan midfielder for Girona whose close control and mobility brought him international prominence at the 2022 World Cup.

Ounahi developed at Raja and the Mohammed VI Academy before beginning his senior career in France with Strasbourg B, Avranches and Angers. He joined Marseille in 2023, spent a season on loan at Panathinaikos and moved to Girona in 2025.

He debuted for Morocco in 2022, became a central figure in the team that reached the World Cup semi-finals, and later won the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
