L'histoire
A tall Belgian attacking midfielder who won the UEFA Europa League with Atalanta in 2023–24 after a difficult spell at AC Milan, having risen through Club Brugge where he was named Belgian Promising Talent of the Year in 2020.
De Ketelaere came through Club Brugge's academy and quickly established himself as one of Belgium's brightest young talents, winning the Belgian Promising Talent award in 2020 and three consecutive league titles. A high-profile move to AC Milan in 2022 proved difficult, but a loan to Atalanta revitalised his career.
He moved permanently to Atalanta in 2024, helping the club win the UEFA Europa League that same season. He debuted for Belgium in November 2020 and has been a regular squad member since, accumulating 30 caps and 6 goals.
