Chris Brady

Chris Brady is a young American goalkeeper who has been a consistent presence in goal for Chicago Fire FC in MLS since his teenage years. He made history as the first player selected for a U.S. World Cup squad without prior senior international experience since 1994.

Brady came through Chicago Fire's academy and became a regular in the senior side at a young age, accumulating over 100 league appearances. He won the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in 2022, earning the Golden Glove as the tournament's best goalkeeper.

He was called up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad despite having only one senior cap to his name, becoming the first player to achieve that distinction for the USA since Juergen Sommer in 1994.
