Cody Gakpo

A tall, technically gifted Dutch winger and forward who rose to prominence at PSV Eindhoven and joined Liverpool in January 2023. He shared the UEFA Euro 2024 Golden Boot with three goals and won the Premier League title with Liverpool in 2024–25.

Gakpo came through PSV's youth academy, making his professional debut in 2018 and winning the Eredivisie in his first season. He was named Dutch Footballer of the Year in 2021–22 after netting 21 goals in 47 appearances, prompting Liverpool to pay a reported £35–44 million in January 2023.

At Liverpool he developed into a reliable attacking option and scored three goals at Euro 2024, sharing the tournament Golden Boot as the Netherlands reached the semi-finals. He was also a key contributor in Liverpool's Premier League-winning 2024–25 campaign.
