Djibril Sow

Djibril Sow is a Swiss defensive midfielder from Zürich who won the UEFA Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2021–22 and joined Sevilla on a five-year deal in August 2023.

Sow progressed through Borussia Mönchengladbach's reserve setup before joining Young Boys in 2017, where he was named Swiss Super League Young Footballer of the Year in 2018–19. He transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019, becoming a reliable defensive presence and helping the club to their Europa League triumph over Rangers in 2021–22.

In August 2023 he signed for Sevilla in La Liga for approximately €10 million. He holds 52 senior caps for Switzerland, featuring in the notable Euro 2020 win over France on penalties.
