Dženis Burnić

Dženis Burnić is a Bosnian midfielder who plays for Karlsruher SC in the 2. Bundesliga. After coming through the Borussia Dortmund academy, he has built a solid career in German football.

Burnić joined the Borussia Dortmund youth academy and made his senior debut there before loan stints at VfB Stuttgart and Dynamo Dresden. He moved to 1. FC Heidenheim in 2020, helping the club win their first-ever major trophy — the 2. Bundesliga title in 2023 — and earn promotion to the Bundesliga.

He joined Karlsruher SC in 2023 and made his debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2024, accumulating 20 senior caps.
