Egil Selvik

Egil Selvik is a Norwegian goalkeeper from Sandnes who plays for Watford F.C. in the EFL Championship. He established himself as a reliable shot-stopper with FK Haugesund before making his international debut in 2023.

Selvik progressed through Sandnes Ulf and Odds BK before a long spell at FK Haugesund, where he made over 100 appearances across four seasons and became one of the better goalkeepers in the Eliteserien. A brief stint with Udinese preceded his move to Watford in 2025.

He has made 50 appearances for Watford and earned 7 caps for the Norwegian national team, being selected in Ståle Solbakken's 26-man 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
