Elliot Anderson

Elliot Anderson is an English midfielder who plays for Nottingham Forest, having joined the club from Newcastle United for a reported £35 million in July 2024. He won the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship with England and was named in the tournament's Team of the Tournament.

Anderson progressed through Newcastle United's academy and made a big impression during a League Two loan at Bristol Rovers in 2021–22. After making 44 Premier League appearances for Newcastle, he moved to Nottingham Forest where he quickly became one of the Premier League's most industrious midfielders, leading the division in several defensive metrics in 2025–26. Previously a youth international for Scotland, he switched allegiance to England and earned his first senior cap in 2025. He was a key figure in England's 2025 UEFA U-21 European Championship winning squad.
