Evidence Makgopa

Evidence Makgopa is a towering South African striker who has played for Orlando Pirates since 2022, becoming one of the country's most prominent forwards. He made an immediate impact on his international debut, scoring twice in a 3–2 win over Uganda in June 2021.

Makgopa developed at Baroka F.C., making 64 appearances and scoring 14 goals before his move to Orlando Pirates in 2022. At Pirates he continued his productive form, adding over 50 appearances and more than a dozen goals in the South African Premiership.

At international level he has accumulated 24 caps and 6 goals for Bafana Bafana, featuring in the squad that claimed third place at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
