Gabriel Ávalos

Gabriel Ávalos is a Paraguayan striker who has built his career primarily in Argentine football, representing his country at the 2021 Copa América and in World Cup qualifying campaigns. Standing at 187 cm, he is known as a physically imposing centre forward.

Ávalos came through football in Paraguay before moving to Argentina, where he played for several clubs including Nueva Chicago, Peñarol, Godoy Cruz, Patronato, and Argentinos Juniors across the 2010s and early 2020s.

He joined Independiente (Avellaneda) and has been a regular feature for Paraguay's national team since 2021, accruing over 20 caps and contributing goals in qualifying and Copa América competition.
