Grant Hanley

Grant Hanley is a Scottish centre-back who captained his country at UEFA Euro 2020 and Euro 2024. He spent the bulk of his career in the English Championship with Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United, and Norwich City.

Hanley came through youth football before joining Blackburn Rovers in 2008, going on to make 183 league appearances for the club. He moved to Newcastle United in 2016, winning the Championship title that season, before signing for Norwich City in 2017.

At Norwich he won the Championship twice more (2018–19 and 2020–21) and was named in the Team of the Season for the latter campaign. After stints at Birmingham City and Hibernian in 2025, he continued his career in the Scottish Premiership.
