Gustavo Puerta

Gustavo Puerta is a professional midfielder who plays for Spanish Segunda División club Racing de Santander and the Colombia national team.

Puerta began his professional career with Bogotá before transferring to Bayer Leverkusen in 2023. He was a member of the Leverkusen squad that won the Bundesliga title in 2024, and spent time on loan at Nürnberg and Hull City before joining Racing de Santander in 2025.

Internationally, he captained Colombia's U-20 side to third place at the 2023 South American Youth Championship and scored on his senior international debut in 2025.
