Hossein Kanaanizadegan

Hossein Kanaanizadegan is an experienced Iranian centre-back who has won three Persian Gulf Pro League titles across two spells at Persepolis and earned 65 international caps.

Kanaanizadegan came through Persepolis before loan moves to Malavan, then stints at Esteghlal, Saipa, and Machine Sazi. He returned to Persepolis in 2019 and won three league titles, before a two-year spell at Al Ahli in Qatar. He came back to Persepolis in 2023.

He has been a mainstay of the Iranian defence with 65 senior caps and 6 goals, representing Iran at the 2019 and 2023 AFC Asian Cups.
