Hussein Ali

Hussein Ali is a Sweden-born right-back for Pogon Szczecin who represents Iraq internationally. He previously played senior club football in Sweden and the Netherlands.

Ali developed at Malmo before making his professional breakthrough with Orebro. He moved to Heerenveen in 2022 and signed for Pogon Szczecin in 2025.

After representing Sweden at youth level, he switched allegiance to Iraq in 2023 and featured at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
