Ime Okon

Ime Okon is a young South African centre-back who joined German second-division side Hannover 96 in 2025 after impressing in the PSL with SuperSport United. He made his senior international debut in June 2025 and was subsequently named in South Africa's 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

Okon made 43 appearances for SuperSport United between 2023 and 2025 before signing a four-year deal with Hannover 96 ahead of the 2025–26 season. He quickly established himself in the German side's defence, contributing 2 goals in 25 appearances.

His rapid rise saw him earn 8 senior caps for South Africa, scoring his first international goal against Zimbabwe in June 2025.
