Ismael Díaz

Ismael Díaz is a Panamanian left winger who won the Golden Boot at the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup and has scored 17 goals in 56 international appearances, currently playing in Liga MX with León.

Díaz came through Tauro FC in Panama, spending time on loan at Porto B in Portugal as a teenager. After stints at Deportivo Fabril, El Tanque Sisley, and Académico Viseu, he returned to Tauro (2020–2022) before joining Universidad Católica in Ecuador.

He spent three prolific seasons at Universidad Católica (2022–2025), netting 38 goals in 86 appearances, which earned him a move to León in Liga MX in July 2025. He also participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
