Ismail Jakobs

Ismail Jakobs is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray and the Senegal national team.

Jakobs began at FC Köln before moving to AS Monaco in 2021. He joined Galatasaray on loan with an obligation to buy in September 2024, winning two league titles and a Turkish Cup.

Born in Germany, he won the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship with Germany before switching to Senegal, representing them at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and winning the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
