Ivan Šunjić

Ivan Šunjić is a defensive midfielder born in Zenica who spent five seasons in English football at Birmingham City before moving to Pafos FC in Cyprus and switching international allegiance from Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024.

Šunjić developed at Dinamo Zagreb and Lokomotiva Zagreb before joining Birmingham City in 2019. He made over 100 appearances for Birmingham, including a loan spell at Hertha BSC, before signing for Pafos FC in 2024.

He won the Cypriot First Division and Cup double with Pafos in 2024–26. After earning one senior cap for Croatia in 2017, he switched to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024 and has since added 11 caps at senior level.
