Jarell Quansah

Jarell Quansah is an English centre-back who joined Bayer Leverkusen from Liverpool in July 2025 for £30 million. A commanding right-footed defender, he won the Premier League and EFL Cup with Liverpool and the 2025 UEFA Under-21 European Championship with England.

Quansah came through Liverpool's academy from age five, making his professional debut in 2023. He won the Premier League title with Liverpool in 2024–25 and the EFL Cup in 2023–24, making 30 Premier League appearances across two seasons before his move to Germany. He had a brief loan spell at Bristol Rovers early in 2023 to gain experience. At international level he won the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He scored the winning goal in the 2022 U-19 semi-final against Italy. His first senior England cap came in November 2025.
