Jassem Gaber Abdulsallam

Qatari centre-back and defensive midfielder who rose through Al-Arabi SC before transferring to Al-Rayyan in 2025. Scored a crucial equaliser in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup semi-final against Iran as Qatar went on to win the tournament.

Gaber progressed through Al-Arabi's ranks in Doha, becoming a reliable defensive option in the Qatar Stars League. He represented Qatar at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

His career highlight came at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, where he scored the equaliser in the semi-final against Iran and finished as a winner. He transferred to Al-Rayyan SC in 2025 and has 30 senior caps for Qatar.
