L'histoire
João Félix is a technically gifted attacking midfielder who became one of football's most expensive teenagers when Atlético Madrid paid €126 million for him in 2019, and has since won La Liga, the UEFA Conference League, and the Saudi Pro League.
Félix announced himself with 20 goals in a debut senior season at Benfica in 2018–19, earning a then-record fee for a teenager. At Atlético Madrid under Diego Simeone he won La Liga in 2020–21, though his role was often rotational. After loan spells at Chelsea and Barcelona, he joined Chelsea permanently in 2024 before moving to Al-Nassr in 2025, where he finished his debut Saudi season with 20 goals and 13 assists and won the title.
Internationally, Félix has 52 caps and 12 goals for Portugal as of late 2025, and has participated in Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup, and Euro 2024. He won the 2019 and 2025 UEFA Nations Leagues.
