Johan Manzambi

Johan Manzambi is a Swiss midfielder of Angolan and Congolese descent born in Geneva in 2005 who broke into the Bundesliga with SC Freiburg in 2024, was named UEFA Europa League Young Player of the Season in 2025–26, and earned his Switzerland senior debut in 2025.

Manzambi came through Servette's academy before joining SC Freiburg's youth setup in 2023. He made his Bundesliga debut in August 2024 and quickly established himself as a dynamic box-to-box midfielder, helping Freiburg reach the 2025–26 Europa League final and scoring crucial goals along the way.

He earned his Switzerland senior debut in 2025 and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad at just 20 years of age, holding 12 caps and 3 international goals.
