Jonas Adjei Adjetey

Jonas Adjei Adjetey is a Ghanaian centre-back who developed at FC Basel and won the Swiss Super League title in 2024–25 before a high-profile move to VfL Wolfsburg in early 2026. He made his Ghana senior debut in October 2024.

Adjetey started his career at Berekum Chelsea in Ghana before moving to FC Basel's reserve side in 2022. He quickly broke into the senior squad and made 58 league appearances, helping Basel win the Swiss Super League in 2024–25.

VfL Wolfsburg signed him in February 2026 on a contract through summer 2030, reportedly for around €10 million. Internationally he debuted for Ghana in October 2024 against Sudan and earned nine caps ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
