Jorrel Hato

One of Europe's most highly rated teenage defenders. Hato made his Ajax senior debut at 16 and was named Eredivisie Talent of the Year for 2024–25 before Chelsea paid £35.5 million to sign him on a seven-year deal in August 2025.

Hato emerged through Ajax's academy and became a senior regular at just 16, earning the Abdelhak Nouri Trophy as the most promising young Dutch talent. He played almost every minute of the 2023–24 season for Ajax and was recognised by The Guardian as one of the best players born in 2006.

Chelsea secured him in August 2025, and he quickly integrated into both their squad and the Dutch national team setup, representing the Netherlands at the 2026 FIFA World Cup while still only 20 years old.
