Josip Šutalo

A composed ball-playing centre-back born in Bosnia and Herzegovina who represents Croatia, Šutalo joined Ajax in 2023 and was named to the Eredivisie Team of the Season in 2024–25.

Šutalo rose through Dinamo Zagreb's academy and made his senior debut in 2019. After winning three Croatian league titles, he made a €20.5 million move to Ajax in August 2023. He established himself as a key defender in the Dutch league, earning individual recognition and selection to the Eredivisie Team of the Season in 2024–25.

He was part of Croatia's 2022 World Cup squad that won bronze in Qatar and has since earned 32 senior caps.
