Laros Duarte

Laros Duarte is a Dutch-born midfielder of Cape Verdean heritage who represented the Netherlands at youth level before switching to the Cape Verde senior team. He is the older brother of Cape Verde international Deroy Duarte.

Duarte came through Jong PSV's academy and went on to spend five years with Sparta Rotterdam and three with FC Groningen in the Eredivisie. In August 2024 he moved to Puskás Akadémia in Hungary, having previously played for the Netherlands at youth levels from U16 to U20.

He switched allegiance to Cape Verde in 2024 and has since earned 15 caps with 1 goal.
