Luca Jaquez

Luca Jaquez is a Swiss centre-back of Dominican and Swiss parentage, born in Lucerne, who made his professional debut at FC Luzern in 2022 and joined VfB Stuttgart in February 2025, winning the DFB-Pokal in his first season.

Jaquez signed his first professional contract with FC Luzern in January 2022 and made his debut immediately, accumulating 62 appearances across all competitions over three seasons. In February 2025, he transferred to VfB Stuttgart on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

He earned his Switzerland senior debut in 2025 and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad with 2 caps to his name, continuing his rapid progression.
