Lucas Mendes

Lucas Mendes is a Brazil-born Qatari defender who plays at centre-back or left-back for Al-Wakrah.

Mendes began with Coritiba, spent two seasons at Marseille and moved to Qatar in 2014, later representing El Jaish, Al-Duhail, Al-Gharafa and Al-Wakrah.

Naturalized after nine years in Qatar, he debuted internationally in 2023 and was part of the squad that won the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
