Martín Zubimendi

Martín Zubimendi is a Spanish defensive midfielder who joined Arsenal for approximately £55.8 million in July 2025 after six years and 180 La Liga appearances at Real Sociedad. He won UEFA Euro 2024 with Spain and the Premier League in his debut season at Arsenal.

Zubimendi came through Real Sociedad's youth academy and made his La Liga debut in April 2019. He became one of the best holding midfielders in Spain, winning the Copa del Rey with Sociedad in 2020 and earning his Spain debut in June 2021.

Despite reported interest from top clubs, he remained loyal to Sociedad until moving to Arsenal in the summer of 2025, helping them to the Premier League title in 2025–26.
