Mateo Kovačić

A technically refined central midfielder born in Austria who won the Champions League four times across stints at Real Madrid and Chelsea before joining Manchester City, where he added a Premier League title in 2024.

Kovačić developed at Dinamo Zagreb before joining Inter Milan, then establishing himself at Real Madrid from 2015, where he won three consecutive Champions Leagues. A loan move to Chelsea in 2018 became permanent in 2019 and he added the Europa League and a fourth Champions League title. He joined Manchester City in 2023 and claimed the Premier League in his first season.

He has earned 112 caps for Croatia and scored 5 goals, representing the side at the 2018 World Cup final and the 2022 third-place finish.
