L'histoire

Matheus Cunha is a versatile Brazilian attacker known for his creativity and dribbling ability who became one of the Premier League's most exciting forwards before joining Manchester United in 2025.

Cunha came through Coritiba's youth academy and moved to Europe at 18, joining Swiss club Sion in 2017. He then progressed to Bundesliga football at RB Leipzig and Hertha BSC before Atlético Madrid signed him in August 2021. Wolverhampton Wanderers initially loaned him and then made the deal permanent; he excelled at Wolves, registering 29 goals in 82 appearances including a hat-trick against Chelsea in February 2024.

His 15-league-goal 2024-25 season earned him the Wolves Players' Player of the Season award and a £ move to Manchester United in June 2025. Internationally, he won gold with Brazil's under-23 side at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and has earned 23 senior caps with 1 goal since his debut in September 2021.
