Mathías Olivera

Mathías Olivera is a Uruguayan left-back who made his name across five seasons in Spanish football with Getafe before joining Napoli in 2022, where he has won two Serie A titles. He made his senior Uruguay debut in January 2022 and has since accumulated over 30 caps.

Olivera came through Nacional's ranks and had only a handful of appearances before relocating to Spain, where he joined Getafe and developed steadily over five seasons — including a loan at Albacete. He made over 100 La Liga appearances for Getafe before Napoli signed him in 2022.

At Napoli he established himself as a key left-back under multiple managers, winning the 2022-23 Serie A title — the club's first in over three decades — and adding a second scudetto in 2024-25 along with the Supercoppa Italiana. He was also part of the Uruguay side that won the 2017 South American U-20 Championship.
