Mattias Svanberg

Swedish central midfielder who developed at Malmö FF, won back-to-back Allsvenskan titles, and became a regular for the national team across multiple major tournaments.

Svanberg came through Malmö FF's youth system and made his professional debut in 2015, winning consecutive Allsvenskan titles in 2016 and 2017. He transferred to Bologna for €5 million in 2018, establishing himself in Serie A over four seasons before joining Wolfsburg in 2022.

He scored on his Sweden debut against the Faroe Islands in November 2019 and has earned 41 caps with 2 goals, featuring at Euro 2020. He was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
