Michael Svoboda

An Austrian centre-back who plays for Serie A side Venezia FC after spending several seasons in Italian football. A late bloomer at international level, he made his Austria debut in October 2024.

Svoboda came through Austrian clubs and played for WSG Tirol before signing with Venezia FC in 2020. After helping the club secure promotion from Serie B in 2024, he established himself in Serie A.

He made his Austria senior debut on 10 October 2024 in a Nations League match against Kazakhstan and has 3 caps.
