Mohamed Hany

Mohamed Hany is an Egyptian right-back who has spent his entire career at Al Ahly SC, establishing himself as one of the most decorated defenders in Egyptian club football. He has been a consistent figure in the national team setup since 2016 and earned a place in Egypt's 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

Hany joined Al Ahly's academy as a child and broke into the senior side in 2014, going on to make over 200 domestic league appearances for the club across more than a decade. During that time he won eight Egyptian Premier League titles, four Egypt Cups, and four CAF Champions League crowns, making him one of Al Ahly's most reliable defensive options.

On the international stage he made his debut for Egypt in 2016 and has since accumulated 42 caps without scoring. He was part of Egypt's squad at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and was included in the 2026 FIFA World Cup roster.
