Nélson Semedo

Nélson Semedo is a Portuguese right-back at Fenerbahçe, a quick and attack-minded defender who won two La Liga titles during his time at Barcelona. He is one of Portugal's more experienced internationals, having earned his 48th cap during the 2024–25 Nations League campaign.

Semedo came through Benfica's academy and won back-to-back Primeira Liga titles before Barcelona signed him for €30.5 million in July 2017. He won La Liga in his first two seasons at the Camp Nou before Wolverhampton Wanderers acquired him for around €30 million in September 2020.

He spent five seasons at Wolves, serving as captain from December 2024, and made 165 Premier League appearances before joining Fenerbahçe on a two-year deal in July 2025. He debuted for Portugal in 2015 and won Nations League titles in 2019 and 2025.
