Nicolas Seiwald

A defensive midfielder who came through Red Bull Salzburg's system and moved to RB Leipzig in 2023. He won the Austrian Bundesliga Breakthrough Player of the Year award in 2021–22 and has established himself as a key figure in midfield for both club and country.

Seiwald progressed through Red Bull Salzburg's academy from age eight, debuting professionally with FC Liefering in 2019 before joining Salzburg's senior squad. He won back-to-back Austrian Bundesliga and Cup doubles in 2020–21 and 2021–22, earning the Austrian Bundesliga breakthrough award. He transferred to RB Leipzig in February 2023 on a five-year deal.

He made his Austria debut in November 2021 and has 47 caps and 1 goal.
