Nkosinathi Sibisi

A reliable South African centre-back and Orlando Pirates club captain, Nkosinathi Sibisi progressed from over 100 appearances at Lamontville Golden Arrows to becoming a key defensive figure for Bafana Bafana since his 2021 international debut.

Sibisi began his professional career with Lamontville Golden Arrows in 2015, making over 100 appearances across seven seasons and establishing himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier Soccer League. In 2022 he transferred to Orlando Pirates, where he became a key defensive organiser and was eventually named club captain, amassing 73+ appearances.

His international debut came on 10 June 2021 in a friendly against Uganda. Sibisi has since been a regular in Bafana Bafana's defensive setup, contributing to South Africa's third-place finish at the 2023 AFCON and earning selection for the 2025 AFCON and 2026 FIFA World Cup squads under coach Hugo Broos.
