Omar Rekik

Omar Rekik is a professional defender who plays as a centre-back for Slovenian club Maribor and represents the Tunisia national team.

Born in the Netherlands, Rekik was part of several youth academies including Feyenoord, Manchester City, PSV, Marseille, and Hertha Berlin. He signed for Arsenal in 2021, and spent loans at Wigan and Servette before joining Maribor.

He committed to Tunisia at the international level, making his senior debut in a friendly against Mali in June 2021.
