Otabek Shukurov

Otabek Shukurov is a highly experienced Uzbek midfielder with 82 senior international caps who won consecutive AFC youth titles and spent five seasons at Sharjah FC in the UAE before later moves to Turkey and Saudi Arabia. He currently plays for Baniyas Club in the UAE.

Shukurov began at Bunyodkor and FK Buxoro before joining Sharjah FC in 2018, where he went on to make 95 appearances and score 10 goals across five years. He then moved to Turkey with Fatih Karagümrük in 2022 before a spell at Kayserispor and time in Saudi Arabia at Al Fayha, before joining Baniyas Club in October 2025.

Internationally, Shukurov debuted for Uzbekistan in February 2016 and became one of the national team's most-capped players with 82 appearances and 9 goals. He was a key member of the squads that won the 2012 AFC U-16 Championship, the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship and the 2025 CAFA Nations Cup.
