Philipp Lienhart

A reliable Austrian centre-back who has spent most of his senior career at SC Freiburg, where he arrived on loan from Real Madrid in 2017. He has 41 caps for Austria and featured at both Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.

Lienhart came through Rapid Wien's academy before Real Madrid signed him for €800,000. He spent his time in Madrid's reserve system before joining SC Freiburg on loan in 2017, with the move becoming permanent in 2018 for approximately €2 million. He has been a regular in Freiburg's defence ever since, reaching the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League final.
