Philipp Mwene

An Austrian full-back born in Vienna who progressed through Austria Wien and VfB Stuttgart's academies before a long career in the Bundesliga and a successful period at PSV Eindhoven. He has 30 caps for Austria.

Mwene came through FK Austria Wien and VfB Stuttgart's academies before spending two seasons at 1. FC Kaiserslautern (2016–18, 65 league appearances). He joined Mainz 05 in 2018, transferred to PSV Eindhoven in 2021, where he won two KNVB Cups and three Johan Cruyff Shields, and returned to Mainz in 2023 on a three-year deal.

He made his Austria debut on 4 September 2021 and has accumulated 30 caps.
